AHA! Travel Permit

Easy to Use and Eco-friendly

An annual travel permit, the AHA (Ar Hyd Aber) card, is available for just £180 to all students and members of staff.

The Card allows holders:

• Unlimited free travel on routes 1, 2, 3 and 5 at all times.
• A flat-rate of £1 per journey on routes 4 & 6 at all times.
• 50% discount at all times on Arriva routes X32, X40, 550 and 585 (subject to a £1 minimum fare).

Other new features of this year’s service:

• A dedicated double-decker bus (UNILynx, route 3) that runs a loop twice-hourly to serve the seafront, town centre and Penglais campus.
• Up to five buses an hour between the Aberystwyth bus station and the Penglais campus.
• Later buses available, with the last bus leaving the campus at 2341 M-F and Saturdays.

The Guild of Students issue the AHA cards and application forms are available between 9.00am and 5.00pm from the Guild or from the Penglais Campus Entrance Lodge.
