Research Facilities :
Good facilities are available to research students of the Department of European Languages. The University Library has extensive collections of books, films, audio-visual materials and periodicals in each of the languages taught by the Department. In addition, the National Library of Wales, one of the five great copyright libraries, is adjacent to the campus, and has an extensive collection of linguistic and literary material.
The Department also has a modern Language Resource Centre which uses the latest computer-assisted teaching packages. The LRC has a good and varied supply of audio-visual materials (films, audio and video tapes CDs DVDs etc.).
The Department also enjoys strong links within other university departments across Europe.
