Megan Tiddeman has a MA (Hons) in French and Italian from the University of St Andrews where she graduated in 2002. Following her PGCE, she then worked for seven years as a teacher of Modern Languages at St Leonards School and IB College in Scotland.
She is currently working towards her PhD in Historical Linguistics under the supervision of Professor David Trotter. The project analyses multilingualism and language contact in medieval merchant documents and is funded by an Aberystwyth Postgraduate Research Studentship.
